Summer is here, and what better place to celebrate than the beach? There’s something cleansing about relaxing to the flow and ebb of the water. Here are 10 of the best beaches to visit if you want a relaxing beach getaway.

Beach Vacation In Nevis, West Indies

Nevis is one of my favorite Caribbean islands. It’s a Caribbean paradise that you can reach in 3 hours via St. Kitts, and then take a 7-minute boat trip to Nevis. The perfect beach vacation includes white sand beaches, peace and tranquility.

Mount Nevis, the island’s center, is the home of some of the most friendly people I have ever met. Nisbet Plantation is a historic Caribbean hotel located on 30 acres. You can also choose to stay at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis where you will be able to enjoy a beachfront villa or room.

Beach Vacation On Waikiki Beach In Hawaii

The Sheraton Waikiki is the perfect place to stay if your ideal beach vacation involves a trip to Hawaii’s Waikiki Beach. You can find out more about my experience here . The hotel offers direct access to Waikiki Beach. What can compare to this view from your hotel room?

I still remember the sunset of that first evening. The colors were so vibrant. We walked along the beach with our toes buried in the sand, enjoying the cool evening breeze under the moonlit sky.

Beach Vacation in Puerto Vallarta

My first trip to Puerto Vallarta, despite how many times I’ve traveled in Mexico was my favorite destination. There were so many things I enjoyed doing. Both in Puerto Vallarta as well as Riviera Nayarit, the beaches are incredible. Please read my article on Travelocity about both places.

Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta is where I would choose to stay again. It was one of my favorite stays anywhere because of the little details–specifically the amazing rooftop pool and the private hot tub on my deck. It was only a 2-minute tram ride from the hotel to the beach. Read all about your magical stay.

Cancun Beach Vacation

Cancun is a great place to go on a beach holiday. It’s easy to get to from anywhere in the US. Both hotels offer something different. The beautiful Live Aqua Beach resort Cancun is an all-inclusive, adult-only hotel. This is the perfect place to relax and escape from life’s stresses. You can spend the day relaxing in a cabana, which is located between the beach, ocean and pools. Paradise is indeed.

Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun is the other resort that I recommend in Cancun. It’s located right in the heart of Cancun. The resort is suitable for families, but there are also plenty of adult-only options.

Gem Spa is located at Grand Fiesta American Coral Beach. It was the best spa experience I’ve ever had. Pool of Sensations is the main feature. You can enjoy a variety of hydrotherapy stations to relax. You’ll be ready to get back in the water and continue your vacation.

Beach Vacation In Franklin County, Florida

Franklin County in Florida has some of Florida’s most beautiful beaches. The area is sparsely populous and located about 80 miles south of Tallahassee. This county is home to coastal enclaves of Apalachicola and St. George Island on the Gulf of Mexico.

You won’t find better seafood anywhere else. The oysters were world-famous, and I ate them all the time. There are many B&Bs — The Coombs Inn was my favorite, you can read more about it here — as well as quaint shops and streets, outdoor activities and wide, open beaches if your goal is to relax and get away.

Beach Vacation In Antibes, France

The South of France would be my ideal beach destination. Antibes in France is my favorite place on earth. In all my travels, I’ve had the best lunch at Plage Keller Antibes around 15 years ago. Enjoy the public beaches, or find a quiet spot to enjoy the Mediterranean and a glass of French Rose.

Our lunch was prolonged by several hours in typical European style. Yachts came and went. The children played in the sand near the water. It was a perfect beach holiday.

Beach Vacation In Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo San Lucas is a great place to escape for a beach holiday. Cabo San Lucas is another great destination for those in the Western US. However, there are flights from around the globe to Cabo. It’s well worth the trip. Los Cabos is a great beach destination where the Gulf of California meets the Pacific Ocean on the Baja Peninsula. The Quivira Los Cabos Resorts are my favorites, as they offer great luxury options. The Montecristo villas at Quivira Los Cabos are a great option. These villas are amazing.

Play golf, relax at the spa, or enjoy gourmet food and drinks. I had a wonderful stay at the all-inclusive, all-adult Pueblo Bonito Pacifica. Book a room at The Towers At Pacifica for an even more luxurious experience. It will make your beach holiday extra special.

Ask for anything you want and someone at Quivira will make it happen. Your beach getaway is waiting.

Beach Vacation In San Diego

San Diego is one of my favourite spots in Southern California. Coronado Island is my favorite, with the beautiful and historic Hotel Del Coronado dominating it.

My stay at Paradise Point Resort & Spa was also enjoyable. Paradise Point is a great place to stay because of the spa. The rooms were very comfortable and had Adirondacks looking out at the marina.

Beach Vacation In Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach is a great place to escape and experience what I consider classic California. When you go to Huntington Beach you can experience California surf culture up-close. The Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel was a great place to stay. The view from the Kimpton Shorebreak Hotel across the Pacific Coast Highway is breathtaking!

The sunsets are spectacular at Huntington Beach. There are so many things to do on the 1,850-foot long Huntington Beach Pier. Huntington’s Main Street is always buzzing with excitement. This is one of my favorite California spots.

Beach Vacation In Oceanside

Oceanside in California offers beautiful beaches and is not as crowded as other Southern California locations.

Oceanside has some great restaurants. Try Hello Betty Fish House located just a few blocks from the beach. Check out the California Surf Museum to learn more about the surfing culture in SoCal.

The train is located in the heart of Oceanside. You can spend the day exploring this beautiful coast. What is my choice of a hotel in Oceanside? Springhill Suites by Marriott is a little unusual for me. It’s relatively new and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, and is close to everything in downtown. It is also adjacent to Hello Betty’s rooftop with its fabulous space. This is an excellent hotel!
