Google Assistant can also provide proactive assistance. You can see upcoming flight info, dinner reservations and appointments. Also, you can check the weather. It’s nice to be able to pair it with my Bluetooth headphones and listen music on Pandora. I downloaded the Uber application so that I could book a trip from my watch.
Google Pay is so easy to use. You can use your watch to pay instantly for purchases at Google Pay terminals once you have added your credit card and a security pattern or code.
It will ring the phone for you if you forget where you left it. I can’t tell you how many times I have forgotten where my phone is and couldn’t find. Now my smartwatch rings it for me.
How to use the Smartwatch
I’ve been using the Smartwatch now for about 10 days. It has a lot of features that I enjoy. If you want to stay on track, be on time, get health coaching and keep your schedule, a Smartwatch is a great choice. Michael Kors Access Runway Smartwatch is stylish and goes well with my wardrobe. It syncs my calendar with SMS text messages and emails. Vibrates when you get any of these, or a call. The constant vibrations were a distraction, especially since I get hundreds of emails every day. I turned off notifications at dinners and meetings as I found them too annoying. It tracks my heart rate and steps. It’s great to have my calendar with the next scheduled appointment literally at the tip of the wrist.
You can use the watch to display both the current time as well as the time in another time zone by using the optional faces. The flight schedule can be kept handy, and you can connect both Bluetooth and WiFi.
The battery is the only thing that I dislike. It causes a constant, but slight heat on my wrist. According to the specs, you can use it for 24 hours with a full battery charge. However, I have not been able get more than eight hours out of one. The charger is a small disk about the size of quarter that attaches to the back of the Watch. The charger is USB-connected, so I can use my iPhone charger to charge it or my computer.
