Disneyland is celebrating its 100th anniversary in style! Disneyland has a lot to offer right now.

Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th Anniversary. Guests are invited to join Mickey, Minnie and their friends in celebrating the 100th anniversary. With so many things going on in the Disneyland Theme Parks, and hotels there is no doubt everyone will have a great time.

Spectacular New Water Show

There will be many new attractions for those who visit the theme parks over the next few weeks and months. One of the most exciting new shows is “World of Color One,” an evening spectacular light show in Disney California Adventure Park. This show tells a story of how one action, like a drop of rain, can create a ripple and grow into a change. This show is a spectacular display of lighting, fog, and lasers. It also features songs from Disney films that you can sing along with.

A Fireworks Display to Entice Guests of All Ages

Disneyland also has a new show. Disney’s “Wonderous Journeys” is a spectacular and amazing firework show. Walt Disney Animation Studios and Disney Live Entertainment teamed up to showcase several of the company’s iconic films, characters, and decades of animated classics. The show is visible on Main Street, as well as in other parts of the park. Buildings and facades are transformed into a canvas of lighting effects, projections and fireworks.

No theme park trip is complete without experiencing the newest, coolest rides. Disneyland will open Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in 2023. Mickey’s Toontown is the location of this amazing ride. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway takes guests to Mickey Mouse’s cartoons and film world. The ride features projection mapping techniques, fabulous animation and trackless vehicles. It’s a fun ride for the whole family. The queue is also very interesting, so there should be no boredom before this ride.

The Best Suggestion: Stay on the Property. It’s Worth it!

Staying on Disneyland’s property is a great idea for your next trip. These are just some of the reasons:

  • One of the greatest perks is the ability to walk from your room to the entrance to a theme park.
  • You can take your purchases back to the hotel or have the vendors deliver them to the front desk if you want to rest during the day.
  • If you plan to spend all of your time in the parks or Downtown Disney, then a car is not necessary.
  • Parking fees are expensive at parks if you drive in.
  • Early morning magic hour — guests staying on property have access to certain parts of the park an hour before other guests.
  • Hotel properties have their own dining facilities and rooms that are clean and quiet.

Watch for Upcoming Announcements and News

Keep an eye out for announcements about new shows, entertainment and events. The after-dark party has become a popular way for people to get to the parks to celebrate. These four-hour events offer a way to have fun, eat, and enjoy the festivities without having to deal with large crowds. Be on the lookout also for announcements about new merchandise and food, as well as park-related events.
